Job Description

Job Role: Design Team: Generate detailed requirements for the project. Create a Bill of Materials (BOM) based on the requirements. Store Keeper: Check if the required items from the BOM are available in stock. If the items are not in stock, inform the Procurement team promptly. Procurement Team: For existing vendors: Send a Purchase Order (PO) after discussing lead times. If the existing vendor does not have the required items in stock: Reach out to new vendors. Request a quotation from the new vendor. Compare the new vendor's quote with existing vendor quotes. Proceed with the order only after approval from the relevant authority. For new vendors: Evaluate and approve the vendor's quotation before placing an order. Post-Purchase Order (PO) Actions: Release the PO and maintain communication with the vendor. Perform regular follow-ups to ensure timely delivery as per the agreed timeline. Database Management: Update the centralized database with details of the issued PO. Track and update the PO status on a daily basis.
