Job Description

To plan project activities and monitor project progress. Project Scheduler works closely with many stakeholders such as Project Management, Project Controlling, Site Management, Contract Management, Engineering, Supply Change Management (SCM) / Project Scheduling Center (PSC), Clients and Suppliers, etc. He / She supports Project Manager to obtain the Customer's approval on baseline time schedule. He / She reports the site progress in cooperation with Site Manager and Project Manager. He / She assists Project Manager in - To develop detailed baseline project time schedule based on key milestones and carries out updates for progress, delays, resources, productivity and forecasts by gathering and analyzing the information. - Identifies constraints and dependencies between activities and reflects in the project schedule. - Develops target oriented time schedule narrative to elaborate and support the Project time schedule, whenever required by the Project. - Takes the responsibility for the overall integrated schedule whenever required by the Project, such as integrating schedules from partners/suppliers and / or submitting integrated schedule to customer. - Lialises with Project Controller to achieve cost/schedule integration. - Performs earned value analysis as required by the Project. - Understands Project Requirement including contractual and commercial terms and implements the requirements in time scheduling and reporting. - Supports Project Manager to obtain Customer Approval on baseline time schedule. - Supports Project Manager for Project Monthly Report preparation (Internal / external). - Updates the project schedule and flags deviations for project management action and support decision making. - Flags up any risk and opportunity to Project Manager in terms of scheduling, progress reporting, delays and resource allocation. - Ensures coordination and alignment between the Project Core Team in terms of planning. - Analysis Critical Path and communicates with the Project Core team frequently. - Participates change order impact analysis and supports substantiation and negotiation. - Performs forensic delay analysis like time impact / window analysis and establishes entitlements for Extension of Time Claims. - Lialises with Site Manager to ensure the schedule / progress report reflects the actual site conditions and maintains accurate records. - Lialises with Test Manager for schedule updates and progress monitoring. - Facilitates Project Core team schedule reviews. - Participates in weekly Project Core Team Meeting and supports Project Manager
