SUMMARY Contribute to the achievement of our companys objective by fulfilling the following: Efficiently carry out a range of mechanical work on machines using the most appropriate tools and machines with minimal repeat jobs and ensuring the breakdowns are contained to the minimum. ownership and attend to breakdowns without any delay. Replace or repair damaged parts and components as needed. Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Carry out all Fitting tasks in the factory Carry out general repair of machinery Ensure availability of spare parts for all the machines Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess the condition of machinery and make repair. Diagnose faults in machinery and equipment, and determine appropriate solutions for repair. Assist in training and mentoring apprentices or junior fitters as needed Work in accordance with safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure job sheets are closed off in a timely manner Ensure work areas are maintained and kept neat and tidy Ensure jobs are carried out efficiently by using proper tools. Can safely use hand and power tools as well as demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Should be able to use welding equipment to fuse structural components. Should be able to inspect fabricated components to ensure that they are the correct size. Salary Range Rs 50,000 to Rs 75,000 Requirements Knowledge of Pneumatics and Hydraulics. Knowledge Fitting and machining and settings of various machines at the plant Able to carry out jobs independently Good communication and teamwork skills Education/Qualification Trade certificate in Fitting/ Machining Experience 3 years of experience as Fitter in repair and maintenance of a continuous food process industry. Benefits 3 years Contract, if performance good renewed for another 3 years. In-case contract is renewed, then wages will be increased for a period of another 3 years. Will be given 1 Round Trip Air Fare (India-Fiji-India) free of cost every 3 years. Will get free accommodation in Fiji & free travel to work while fooding cost will be borne by the candidate which is approx. Rs 5,000 per month. Annual Leaves: Sick Leave will be 10 days, Annual Leave will be 10 days per year along with Gazetted Holidays listed by the Govt of Fiji.
