Job Description

As a Security Expert, your role is to architect, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of our online applications and systems. You will ensure secure design and development, conduct thorough security assessments, provide security automation solutions, and foster a culture of security awareness within the team. Your primary focus will be on identifying and mitigating security risks, improving processes, and enabling efficient security operations. Serve as an internal security consultant, answering queries and fulfilling requests. Conduct secure design reviews, threat modeling, secure code reviews, and security testing. Detect and remediate security gaps in our applications, services, and third-party solutions. Develop and maintain security automation and secure-by-default solutions to enhance productivity. Contribute to the organizations security strategy and ensure secure application development. Deliver customer-centric security solutions and tools for wide-scale security operations. Assess logging and alerting infrastructure for appropriate coverage and response capability. Stay abreast of the latest security trends and coordinate responses across affected teams. Promote best security engineering practices throughout the organization. Demonstrate expertise in various security subdomains like Encryption, Data Protection, Incident Response, Network Security, CI/CD Security, and more. What are we Looking for We are looking for talented, creative, and driven software engineers with a proven record of accomplishment in solving complex technical and soft-skill problems. BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent. 8+ years of experience in application, product, or systems security. Proficient in at least one scripting or compiled language (Java, Python, JavaScript, Go, C/C++). Experience with threat modeling, code reviews, security testing, vulnerability detection, and remediation. Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and application security concepts. Proficiency in securing cloud services (preferably AWS/GCP) and Linux/Unix. Educational Qualification: Master s degree in a relevant field or equivalent. Relevant industry certifications (SANS, GIAC, CISSP, OSCP, OSWE, CISA, CISM, CRISC, etc.). 5+ years of software development experience with strong programming skills. 3+ years of experience in penetration testing or offensive security. Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, and remediation techniques. In-depth knowledge of various cloud technologies. Strong communication skills with experience in security guidance for complex initiatives.
