Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: This role-holder is accountable for managing the global accounts business for the allocated global partner LOB and comply with the relevant underwriting guidelines of the relevant LOB; Provide support to the CBG Ops team of relevant locations in invoicing, premium collection and policy issuance of the global accounts policies. To work in the system of global partners wherever access provided with integrity and maintain high quality of inputs. Maintain MIS of the global accounts business handled and report the same to TL - Global accounts or Head - Global accounts as the case may be. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Risk Assessment and UW Review technical proposals received from various global partners basis the existing guidelines / norms Evaluate proposal thoroughly considering past claims / cases and assess conformance with the set underwriting guidelines; seek more information on proposals, customers, if required Provide relevant details to the underwriter of relevant LOB for their review of risks along with any associated loss ratio and get terms and conditions for the proposal, wherever required. Share the quotes with global partners within stipulated timelines; discuss with the underwriter of concerned LOB in case of any specific requests from global partners, if required; provide clarifications to the global partner, if required Co-ordinate with Reinsurance Team to ensure that all global accounts business are placed under the treaties of relevant global partners without any miss out as per the agreed RI cessions; Provide timely data to RI team for the closing of placements Relationship management Interacting with internal stakeholders (Operations, Marketing, Finance, Claims etc.) to meet the smooth proceedings of the business requirements at various stages Develop the key relationship with global partners, local brokers along with marketing team to develop long term sustainable business growth Analytics MIS Reporting Maintaining data of global accounts business handled Compiling the business figures on regular basis and sharing with relevant stakeholders regularly. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Qualifications Graduate or Post Graduate Qualifications in Insurance will be an added advantage (Associate/Licentiate of I.I.I.) Work Experience 4+ years of experience in General Insurance Good oral written communication skill Good co-ordination skills
