Brief Description of the Position: The Reverse Logistics Specialist position at Roambee is a hands-on role that ensures that the Roambee devices are maximized for circulation and utilization. He or she will be responsible for building processes and improve pickup efficiency from our customer's locations as well as from Roambee hubs around the world. This position reports into Director Operations, India. Your area of responsibilities would be: The responsibility of the Reverse Logistics Specialist is grouped in 3 categories. Develop process and procedures. The Reverse Logistics Specialist should perform: l Create standard operating procedures to pickup devices from any location, perform diagnostics, shipping and handling etc. Managing Day-to-Day Reverse Logistics. As a reverse logistics specialist, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities: l Coordinate with customers to pickup devices from various customer locations around the world and make sure that the pickups are done in a timely manner. l Maintain an address book of all contacts of customer's point of contact who is responsible for coordinating the pickups. l Accurately handle all freight and commercial shipment related paperwork and making sure the devices are not stuck for any reason on its return journey. l Run diagnostics test on all devices received and check these passed devices into Honeycomb and the devices that failed the test should be sent to RMA. l Build relationships with various courier companies around the world and ensure right courier for the right region is used for pickup that is lowest cost and fastest delivery. l Work with finance and customer experience team to process credits if the device that was picked up was damaged or faulty due to which the customer could not use our service. l Engage in communications with all parties to relay difficult messaging around delays or issues concerning device pickups or related transportation problems and the actions taken to resolve it. Reporting: l Generate daily/weekly pick reports, maintain pickup costs and manage pick up inventory. l Analyse courier and pickup costs and other data to ensure efficient pickups. l Internal and external audit reporting. Work with engineering to develop tracking dashboard and other tools to make the reverse logistics process efficient. Requirements. About Roambee. What were looking for: l B.S in industrial, math or science. l 5+ years of total in logistics related industry. l Ability to command attention in a room of senior executives during training sessions in spite of the candidate having lesser experience than them.About Roambee. l Must have excellent writing skills and experience in writing standard operating procedures and other customer related communications. l Strong excel skills to develop courier costing models, pickup data and more. l Must be a team player and should be comfortable working across geographies with various team members. l Candidate will have to define their own work schedule. This role is not 9 to 5, it requires working in different time zones with different customers globally. l Candidate must be hands on and should have experience in building and leading a team.
