This role requires an individual with strong inventory management skills, an in-depth understanding of the unique challenges associated with inventory, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient replenishment of stock. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of products, ensuring that inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demand while minimizing wasteTeam Leadership & Development:Lead and mentor a team of replenishment specialists or associates, providing training and guidance on replenishment processes, inventory management, and product handlingFoster a collaborative, results-driven culture focused on improving supply chain efficiency and minimizing product wasteQuality Control & Compliance:Address quality issues promptly and work with suppliers to resolve any defects, damage, or non-compliance with product specifications What are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP) are a plus 5+ years of experience in replenishment, inventory management, or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleKnowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems) and replenishment softwareFamiliarity with handling supply chain challenges related to perishables, such as lead time management, spoilage, and seasonal demand fluctuations inventory levels, order quantities, and product replenishmentExcellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teamsStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentA keen eye for detail, especially in managing product quality, shelf life, and waste reduction Familiarity with demand forecasting models and supply chain optimization toolsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high attention to detailKnowledge of sustainability practices in supply chain management and perishable goods Roles and Responsibilities: Replenishment Planning:Lead and manage the replenishment process for products, ensuring that inventory levels are accurately aligned with demand forecasts, seasonal trends, and sales patternsWork closely with demand planning, merchandising, and sales teams to develop and execute replenishment strategies based on customer demand and inventory turnover ratesInventory Management:Monitor inventory levels for products to ensure availability while minimizing overstock and product wasteTrack product shelf life and implement strategies to rotate stock, reduce spoilage, and improve stock rotation for perishablesImplement best practices for managing the lifecycle of products, ensuring timely ordering and delivery Supplier & Vendor Coordination:Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors for categories, ensuring timely replenishment and quality controlCoordinate closely with suppliers to manage lead times, deliveries, and ensure product availability in alignment with sales forecasts and promotionsWork with vendors to resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery delays, or order discrepanciesData-Driven Decision Making:Utilize inventory management systems, sales data, and demand forecasting tools to monitor product performance and optimize replenishment processesAnalyze inventory trends and adjust ordering strategies to reflect seasonal fluctuations, promotional activities, and market conditionsGenerate regular reports to track KPIs such as stock turnover rates, out-of-stock occurrences, and waste levels, and provide insights to senior leadership Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and store operations teams to plan for promotions, new product introductions, and seasonal changes that product demandParticipate in meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on inventory levels, product assortment, and supply chain execution Supply Chain Optimization:Work with logistics and transportation teams to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and storesOptimize order quantities, delivery schedules, and transportation costs while maintaining product qualityIdentify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the replenishment process Qualifications Any GraduationMore Info
