Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Education and Experience: Graduate Engineer in Chemical Engineering from a reputed institute.

Experience (5-8 years) in the field of process optimization with respect to improvement of consumptions of RM and utilities, quality, yield and throughput of products, improving safety and sustainability of the process. Proven track record for the same.

Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of various unit operations like batch distillation, stripping, crystallization, drying etc. and various unit processes.

Work closely with R&D, production, quality assurance, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) teams.

Facilitate workshops and training sessions to embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Analyze existing chemical production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and safety risks.

Develop and implement strategies to improve yield, reduce waste, and minimize energy consumption.

Technical Skills :

Candidate should be expert in chemical calculations.

Candidate should be very good in data gathering and data presentation.

Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mind-set.

Candidate should have Demonstrated leadership skills as well as demonstrated ability to develop goals and actions to improve performance.

Candidate should have Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvement from concept through project completion.

Ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Communicate to the stake holders on projects and initiatives. Make recommendations for change, involving process redesign and business case development
