We are searching an experienced and skilled Head Cyber Circuities to support the CISO in overseeing and implementing the overall information security strategy for our Client The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems, data, and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Information Security Strategy Support the CISO in developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive information security strategy through strong governance practices aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Risk Management Identify, assess, and mitigate information security risks to the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Security Operations Oversee the day-to-day operations of the security team, including incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management Compliance and Regulatory Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST CSF and SEC regulations. Security Awareness and Training Develop and implement security awareness and training programs for employees, promoting a culture of security within the organization. Vendor Management Oversee the evaluation, selection, and management of third-party vendors, ensuring they meet the organization's security standards. Also manage supply chain security and TPRM functions. Budgeting and Resource Allocation Assist the CISO in managing the information security budget, allocating resources, and prioritizing initiatives. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with various stakeholders, including executive management, IT teams, and external partners, to ensure alignment and effective communication. Audit and Compliance Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standard Candidate Profile: Domain Experience Minimum of 15 years of Information Security experience in large organizations, of which at least 5 years should be in leadership roles. Should have significant experience in regulated businesses in the financial services domain, preferably in capital market related businesses. Stakeholder and Team Management Should be able to work seamlessly with Board, senior stakeholders, regulators, business heads, technology partners and team members. Should also be able to attract, build, motivate, groom and retain the best cyber security talent. Leadership Capabilities: Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including regulatory requirements and industry standards. Proficiency in security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption. SOC automation and latest technologies like cloud security, Quantum computing and AI/ML technologies Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Identifies gaps in existing systems/processes and creates an action plan to plug the gaps rapidly. Adopts a commercial mind-set to technology leadership - for example including cost considerations into selection of new technologies and carefully evaluating make vs buy decisions. Collaborating and Influencing Leverages strong domain knowledge and experience to quickly establish credibility by providing deep technology insights to the Executive Leadership Team to influence strategic business decisions. Builds collaborative working relationships with business leaders within the company and vendors outside the company. Acting Strategically - Explains specifically how changes in financial services / fintech competitors and market segments affect own business or institution. Visualizes potential business changes and creates a strategic IT/Innovation roadmap so that the Technology function is ready for the growth of the business and the subsequent scale-up. Strong work ethic with resolute motivation and passion & Impeccable integrity and Long-term orientation. Strong communication skills (written/verbal) with the ability to optimally articulate thought processes. Collaborative, team player while appreciating cultural differences and operating in a cross-cultural environment. Cultural agility to be able to work in different work environments.
