Job Description

Responsible for evaluating mechanical parts, components fitting into PC/computer / electronic equipment. CAD skills (2D and 3D), Surface modeling Knowledgeable and proficient in all CAD skills and all mathematical functions related to these skills Utilize and incorporate general mechanical design principles, including design for manufacturing (DFM) and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Capability for design of tool and fixtures, if any, to enable the handling, assembly /disassembly of components and sub-assemblies. Knowledge in mechanical engineering layouts or schematics according to customer and manufacturing design requirements and specifications Responsible for continuous improvement - Coordinate with cross regional teams to identify and record the difficulties faced. Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate to complex difficultly under general supervision. Requires working knowledge of GD&T applications based on requirements. Requires experience of engineering change managements, analyze and trouble shoot issues. Requires working experience on any of the CAD tools like nIAutoCAD / Inventor/ Pro-E/Creo .
