Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer with expertise in Life Asia to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing and quality assurance processes, specifically within the Life Insurance domain using the Life Asia platform. The QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our life insurance applications and systems. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for Life Asia-based applications, ensuring coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements. Test Execution: Perform manual and automated testing, including system integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects in a detailed manner. Work closely with development teams to resolve issues. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines. Life Asia Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of the Life Asia platform to identify potential risks, suggest improvements, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and technologies. Propose and implement improvements to existing QA processes. Documentation: Maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports. Required Skills and Experience: Experience: 5+ years of experience in QA roles with a focus on Life Asia platform. Life Asia Expertise: Strong understanding of Life Asia applications and life insurance business processes. Testing Tools: Proficiency in QA tools such as JIRA, Selenium, HP ALM/QC, or similar. Automation Skills: Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
