Job Description
The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, compliance, audits, and financial reporting while supporting the senior finance team in strategic and operational activities.
Role & responsibilities
- Preparation and finalisation of accounts (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Assist in statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audits.
- Support in filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax returns, and other regulatory compliances.
- Preparation of MIS reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
- Handle reconciliation of bank, vendor, and inter-company accounts.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities.
- Assist in improving processes and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and auditing.
- Hands-on experience in Tally / SAP / ERP systems.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc.).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred candidate profile
- Semi-Qualified CA (completed CA Inter / IPCC).
- 2-3 years of relevant Post-Article experience.
- Knowledge of Tally accounting software to efficiently use the same.
- Accounting standards knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Worked in a service organisation would be an added advantage.
- Not continuing with CA/CMA finals.
