Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Site Engineer to oversee the installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems at our project site. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems comply with local fire safety regulations, project specifications, and international standards (NFPA, BS, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute the installation of fire protection systems (fire alarm, fire suppression, sprinkler systems, hydrants, etc.)

Ensure compliance with fire codes, safety standards, and local regulations.

Conduct site inspections, quality control, and testing of fire safety systems.

Coordinate with contractors, MEP teams, and civil engineers for seamless system integration.

Maintain proper documentation (inspection reports, test certificates, method statements, etc.)

Identify fire safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.

Attend project meetings and liaise with consultants and authorities as needed.

Train and supervise technicians and subcontractors.

Ensure timely delivery of fire protection system milestones within project timelines.

Qualifications Skills:

Bachelor s Degree/Diploma in Fire Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.

3 5 years of experience in fire protection systems installation or site supervision.

Knowledge of fire codes (NFPA, local fire authority standards).

Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and fire protection design tools.

Strong understanding of fire alarm panels, pumps, detectors, sprinklers, etc.

Good communication and project coordination skills.

Fire Safety certifications (preferred): NFPA, CFPS, or equivalent.

Preferred Industry Experience:

Construction (Residential, Commercial, or Industrial)

Oil Gas

MEP Contracting

Facility Management
