Job Description: International Exhibitions, Events & Digital Marketing Executive
Role Overview: Looking for someone who can own end-to-end international exhibition execution and simultaneously handle digital marketing + competitive intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
1. International Exhibitions & Seminars (Primary Responsibility)
Planning & Strategy
- Evaluate global exhibitions (11-14 Shows) with Sales/BD and prepare the annual events calendar.
- Build event budgets (stall, travel, logistics, promotions) and drive approvals with Management.
- Prepare the final exhibition product list and messaging with Sales/Technical teams.
Stall Finalisation & Vendor Coordination
- Liaise with exhibition organisers for stall booking, hall allocation, utilities, passes, deadlines, and portal submissions.
- Own all organiser portal activities: forms, power orders, exhibitor manual compliance, branding submissions, etc.
- Coordinate with Finance for advance payments, vendor settlements, and documentation.
- Manage 3D stall design vendors briefing, iterations, technical approvals, and final BOQ freeze minimum 3 vendors for evaluation.
- Evaluate vendor quotations to challenge quality vs. cost.
On-Ground Execution
- Oversee fabrication, installation, and dismantling (physical or virtual supervision).
- Ensure all branding, brochures, standees, giveaways, displays, QR codes, and logistics reach the venue on time.
- Coordinate team travel, stay, airport transfers, and daily support during the expo.
- Daily show reporting: footfall, hot leads, competitor stalls, and insights.
Post-Event
- Followup with sales/BD to Consolidate leads from their end in Sales Force, and ensure CRM updating is completed.
- Prepare a learning report what worked, what flopped, what competitors did better.
2. Digital Marketing for Fabtech Group Companies (Secondary Responsibility)
Social Media Management
- Plan and execute weekly/monthly content calendars for Fabtech group companies.
- Coordinate with internal design teams to ensure timely delivery of creatives and videos.
- Post updates across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube; monitor engagement and community queries.
Performance & Analytics
- Track organic reach, impressions, follower behaviour, and content performance.
- Share weekly dashboards and insights to improve posting frequency, formats, and storytelling.
- Measure traffic driven from exhibitions to social profiles.
Competitor Intelligence
- Monitor competitors social media, exhibition participation, announcements, and campaigns.
- Benchmark Fabtechs presence against industry leaders and map gaps in content positioning.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
- With Sales: product lists, visitor targeting, stall objectives.
- With Finance: payments, vendor budgets, invoicing.
- With Design & Vendors: stall layout, creatives, panels.
- With Travel Desk: travel, visa, accommodation.
- With Management: MIS dashboards and event ROI analysis.
Skills & Experience Required
- 25 years of experience in exhibitions, events, or B2B marketing (preferably pharma/engineering/manufacturing).
- Strong understanding of international exhibition operations (organiser portals, utilities, freight).
- Good knowledge of LinkedIn and social media analytics.
- Strong vendor management, negotiation skills, and budget handling.
- Ability to handle pressure, long timelines, and last-minute changes (because exhibitions rarely go as planned).
- Strong written communication, reporting skills, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
