Job Opening for Business Development at Kalpataru Projects International Ltd, Oil & Gas division.
Job location: Mumbai (Santacruz)
Experience
Minimum 20 + years in Oil & Gas industry with 3-10 years in overseas experience
Education:
BE (Mech.)/MBA

Area of Responsibilities: -
1) Scan global opportunities for Company's business and formulate a practical strategy with the objective of aggressive entry into international market to accomplish fast-paced business growth.
2) Research and maintain database of current and future prospects, right from the inception of projects by keeping track of fund approvals, grid expansion plans, plans of utilities etc. from various resources.
3) Perform the market / country analysis, develop business development plan, prioritize the markets and visit the countries accordingly to explore and develop the opportunities.
4) a) Develop local network by identifying reliable agents / company personnel /consultants / representative by visiting markets in advance.
b) Collect Data w.r.t. local inputs for cost estimation covering local taxation laws, local labour costs, local sub-contractors' capabilities & costs, local material costs etc.
5) Identify JV partners / associates to meet PQ criteria (if required) for maximum participation in tenders/ PQ.
6) Understand the risks of the new and prepare risk matrix including, country, client and project risk to take a calculated risk in case of participation in the project.
7) Understand customer needs & communicate with internal and external stakeholders; assist in the
development of solutions that satisfy those requirements to minimize potential gaps between
expectations & delivery
8) Liaison with Engineering, Operations, Finance and Corporate managers on the preparation and
submission of risk-mitigated, competitive bids
9) Customer Relationship Management during project execution, aimed at securing repeat business.
