Urgent required Manager- Production in MNC for Chakan Pune location. Required Qualification: B.E.(Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Production) Required Experience: 7 Yrs. to 10 Yrs. Role & responsibilities 1. Production Planning and Control Develop and implement production planning aligned with customer demand. Prepare production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency. 2. Operational Management Manage day-to-day production activities, ensuring that operations run smoothly. Monitor production performance metrics (e.g., output, quality, costs) and develop the strategies increase productivity & production. Ensure the effective use of materials, equipment, and labour to meet production targets. 3. Team Leadership and Development Lead and mentor production teams, including supervisors and operators. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and high performance. Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance team skills and knowledge. 4. Quality Control Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure products meet established standards. Address any production issues or defects, working closely with the quality control team. Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain high standards of production quality. 5. Budgeting and Cost Control Prepare yearly sales, manpower & resource requirement budget for the year. Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety. 6. Health and Safety Compliance Ensure that all production activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety policies. Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. 7. Supply Chain and Inventory Management Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials. Ensure minimum inventory in WIP (Work In Process). 8. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, procurement, and logistics, to ensure alignment and smooth production. 9. Continuous Improvement Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new technologies and methods to keep the production process competitive. 10. Reporting and Documentation Prepare regular reports on production performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate and detailed records of production activities, including outputs, downtime, and resource usage. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
